For the past seven years, Julia has privately tutored students in writing, history, international and comparative government, and elementary and middle school math and science. Throughout college, Julia also worked as an algebra, AP World History, and AP Psychology tutor through a Maryland-based tutoring company. Recently, Julia expanded her services to include college admissions, and has since served as a two-year college coach to four students, helping them research schools, brainstorm and draft essays, and create a cohesive and compelling narrative.
Julia’s experience working with students who have ADHD and severe test anxiety shaped her educational approach, and she combines teaching content with helping students develop and hone effective study habits and organizational skills. Julia looks forward to supporting students throughout the academic and operational aspects of their educational journeys.
